It seems like just the other day I was spending the afternoon at Fanshawe Conservation Area with Janna and Fadi for their engagement session on one of the nicest late fall days of the year, with a fresh dusting of snow, more sunshine than we could've even asked for, and barely any wind! Since the main park was closed to drive-through traffic at the dam, we weren't able to get down to the pavilion area which is where I typically like to shoot...and I think it was the best blessing, because I discovered so many brand new favourite areas and backdrops!

Janna's red coat legitimately made my day (and their engagement photos!) – there's nothing better than a bold pop of colour (especially in late fall or winter) to bring photos to life. I tend to choose nice and clean backdrops that don't distract from the couples, so colourful wardrobe choices are always a good choice!

That blue coat, too, though. The warm/cool contrast between it and the trees and branches makes me happy.

Like usual, these are just some "teaser" pics from their full gallery (of nearly 300 photos!). I was looking forward to their wedding day at Elora Mill next month, but because of the global pandemic it's now been postponed until 2021, along with so many other couples. But, it gives me a full year of being able to look forward to working with these two lovebirds again!
