I seriously don't even know where to begin to introduce Joanna & Christos' wedding. Breathtaking would be a good word. Also fun, romantic, sexy, dreamy, dramatic, moody – all the things that when woven together create the most beautiful collection of wedding photos and memories! As their wedding was in March, all of the wedding party photos were done indoors at the always awesome Mint Room Studios in Toronto, with the reception taking place at the (equally beautiful!) Grand Luxe Event Boutique in North York. I'm not going to ramble on here, because I'm excited for you to get to the photos! I will say – this will be a long blog post...but don't skip any of it because you definitely want to see the dance floor party pics at the end of the night!

The Ceremony
Joanna & Christos' Greek Orthodox wedding was held at the Greek Orthodox Church of Prophet Elias in Mississauga, and it's such a gorgeous church! It was emotional, traditional, and romantic all at the same time (and the exit photos are awesome, I think!)
Bride, Groom & Wedding Party Portraits at Mint Room Studio
Ugh...this place though! The rooms we chose for the bride & groom portraits of Joanna & Christos (and their *gorgeous* bridal party*) couldn't have been any better. The rick jewel tones of the library complimented Joanna's *also gorgeous* bouquet and Christos' *wicked* burgundy suit so well! Plus the blush palette of her bridesmaid dresses (and those balloons)...it just all came together even more beautifully than we could have imagined. Then, add in the contrasting, stark white of the second room to make everything just POP and add some clean and crisp contrast to the whole gallery of photos - perfection!
...and, exhale.
Omg, wasn't all of that just wonderful? Not only are the gorgeous, but Joanna & Christos are SO FUN to work with! They're truly beautiful inside and out, and spending the whole photoshoot inside with them was an absolute, totally inspiring pleasure. Shooting at Mint Room Studios is also a dream! And now...onward to the reception at the Grand Luxe Event Boutique!

To describe Joanna & Christos' wedding day as anything other than EPIC would be an insult, because it was incredible! From Joanna's incredible dress (and personality) to Christos' perfect burgundy suit (and those eyes!) and the stunningly unique florals by Creations By Gitta...everything came together as one of the most beautiful weddings ever. Having a great indoor location for their photos also helped – thanks as always, Mint Room Studios! And thanks to both of you and your entourage, J&C – I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! xoxo Shawn
