Burlap, hay bales, and mason jars, oh my!
Don't forget the epic big red barn that Lindsey & Bradley chose to get married in front of, on a family friend's property in Wicklow Ontario! With roughly 60 guests, the day was intimate and relaxed, with time for everyone to mingle and enjoy the gorgeous weather and home! I was with L&B for roughly 6 hours, and it's amazing to see how much romantic, rustic, and lovely photos we captured. The details were so well thought out and had a lovely farmhouse chic vibe while still being classy!

I know...that steel blue colour looks so good!

Like, seriously...how perfect is this barn?

Lindsey's smile, this amazing rope swing, the dreamy lighting...the entire day just makes me swoon!
Now...onward to the wedding ceremony in front of the big, beautiful red barn!

Of course their dog was there!
While the guests enjoyed cocktails and snacks, we did some gorgeous family, wedding, and bride & groom portraits on the front porch (does it get any better than a farmhouse front porch?) Then, the three of (and Lindsey's sister Michelle as a helper!) set out to Wicklow Beach for some shots on the pier and along the water. On the way, I spotted an incredible field that I knew we'd be stopping at on our way back! Nothing says rustic farmhouse wedding more than a field of wheat!

I'm just gonna leave that right there...

This property was such a dream to shoot at...it literally had everything you could want!

The Tented Backyard Reception
I love a small, intimate outdoor wedding like nothing else – and Lindsey & Bradley's was no different. There were SO many laughs during the speeches, including my highlight when Lindsey's twin sister referred to her as her "womb-mate" haha! As I was just there for the beginning of the reception up to the dances, I wasn't there for the big party to follow, but knowing the guests and wedding party, I'm certain it was a hoot!

The Perfect Mix
Can we talk about how clever and awesome it is to have a Trail Mix Bar at your wedding? Happy trails is right!

That birch tree wedding cake, though. I've seen a lot of these in my day, and this is hands down the best one yet!

I can literally still smell the sugar in the air from these cupcakes!

...and they partied on!
I know, what a sweet, dreamy, perfect little wedding! All of that in six awesome hours – and all those incredible locations were right there – who could ask for more? Lindsey & Bradley were so amazing to spend the day with, and it was great seeing some familiar faces I hadn't seen in years. Wish the two of you all the happily ever afters ever. Thanks so much for having me as your wedding photographer, it was a highlight of my season! xoxo Shawn
